Of course, an English language teacher must know the language perfectly and have outstanding teaching skills and experience. But this begs another question - which is better: a native-speaking teacher or an English teacher of Russian origin? Experience shows that training with a native-speaking teacher means a focus on real English pronunciation, the "living" spoken language and removes the barriers to future dealings with foreigners. With such advantages, real English language assimilation is much faster.
